Do you live near Jefferson Park? Do you enjoy it's quiet neighborhood feel? Would you like to help take care of and improve the park? If so, the Springfield Parks Foundation is looking to start a "Friends of Jefferson Park" team - an informal volunteer and fundraising group that will focus on this unique gem in our very own backyard. Possible activities include plantings at the entrances, cleanup and invasive plants, capital projects like a possible picnic pavilion or playground improvements.
